There are three branches of government in the United States. The legislative…they make the laws. The executive…they enforce the laws. The judicial…they rule on the side of the law. No branch can overstep the boundary markers established by the United States Constitution. Often you will hear the Supreme Court strike a law down that has been written by the legislative branch (congress and senate), or the enforcement of the law by the executive branch (chief among them the President) as unconstitutional. Checks and balances are put in place to protect the citizenry from tyranny. It is about high time that the presiding chiefs in the judicial branch (Supreme Court on down) have the same label slapped upon them. The SCOTUS ruling is unconstitutional. It is unlawful to legislate from the bench. UNLAWFUL!! But as DeMar points out in this article, those now serving in the law-system have been weaned on thinking they are a law unto themselves.
